\nField-based with nationwide travel to client sites across the UK.

\nWorking hours: 07:00am 16:00pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support project delivery, maintenance call-outs and operational requirements. Call-out rota: 3 weeks per year.
\nThe role of an EVC Electrical Engineer
\nTo carry out the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of EV charging infrastructure across commercial, industrial and public sector environments throughout the UK. The role is primarily installation-focused but also includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive fault response, replacement component works and lifecycle upgrades across existing EV charging infrastructure. The EVC Electrical Engineer will support the delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects while maintaining strong compliance with electrical, health & safety and operational standards.

\nTechnical requirements
\nStrong knowledge of EV charging infrastructure installation and operational delivery processes.
\nExperience installing DC rapid charging and AC charging systems across commercial environments.
\nStrong working knowledge of Alpitronic, Kempower, Autel and ChargePoint charging equipment.Understanding of EV charger commissioning procedures and software configuration processes.
\nExperience with maintenance diagnostics, replacement parts and lifecycle upgrades.
\nCompetent in electrical testing, inspection and certification processes.
\nUnderstanding of UK electrical regulations, BS7671 requirements and safe systems of work.
\nFamiliarity with RAMS, permits, commissioning records and handover documentation.
\nAbility to work independently across multiple live environments and operational sites.
\nUnderstanding of commercial electrical infrastructure including distribution systems, containment and cable installations.
\nBasic understanding of Solar PV, BESS or wider renewable technologies desirable.
\nCompetent in Microsoft 365, including Outlook and mobile reporting systems.

\n City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification essential.

\n Level 3 Electrical qualification essential.
