Location: East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire

Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour 25,445 Salary

Job Type: Full-Time Monday to Thursday 0730-1630 and Fridays 0730-1200.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with assembly, manufacturing, or production experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

The Role

As an Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for assembling and testing components and products in line with engineering specifications and quality standards. Working as part of a skilled team, you will help ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to drawings and work instructions.
\n
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
\n
• Carry out basic testing and quality checks on completed assemblies.
\n
• Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation.
\n
• Identify and report any defects, quality concerns, or production issues.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and production targets.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
\n
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
\n
• Assist with stock handling, packaging, and dispatch activities when required.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across production and quality teams.
\n
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
