About the role
We are looking to appoint experienced Technical Architects who are willing to be flexible, keen to take on new challenges, and able to be self-disciplined to architect, build on proof of concept/proof of value and work with teams that build and maintain systems for the organisation and our customers within the health and care sector. It's your chance to join a fast-paced environment acting on lean principles and with close collaboration with customers to ensure higher business value. We'll look to you to undertake analysis of organisational, team and individual system user requirements and then use this to architect cutting-edge nationally used bespoke systems. An expert in the area of applications development, you will also provide technical consultancy to internal and external customers, product owners, management and staff.
A skilled Technical Architect you'll come to us with extensive experience of software development, technical support and technical assurance in a complex technical environment. Recent knowledge and experience of delivering a large scale enterprise stack will be vital. You will also have experience of one or more of the following: database or directory development; platform infrastructure design and engineering; the development of monitoring and management information toolsets for large scale, diverse platform estates; data warehousing, analytics and intelligence; interoperability and messaging.
In addition to a competitive salary you can look forward to a full range of public sector benefits, including an excellent contributory pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement and various flexible working options. Perhaps the most compelling reasons for joining us, however, are the scale, scope and high profile and diverse nature of the projects you'll be working on and the technologies you will be using, along with the unprecedented opportunity for personal and professional development. You will also get the personal satisfaction of being part of a team delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Health and Care sector.
