Operational delivery:

Provide operational support for the redesign, development, implementation and continuous improvement of operations as required to ensure excellent customer focus

Assist in the developing the strategic plan

Implement and monitor the annual operational plans, programs and projects to meet the overall objectives and agreed timings.

To keep updated of any new legislation affecting operations, interpret the implications, appraise the General Manager, cascade the information to Managers and develop processes to ensure compliance with any new legislation

To assist to recruit, select, supervise, appraise and manage the performance of Care Home Managers through supervision

To ensure all Care Managers have up to date staff supervision, Personal Development Plans and appraisal forms - reflecting manager performance

To maintain an annual training plan to develop care operations and oversee monthly training matrices. Report monthly training matrices and deficits in attendance figures to General Manager.

To seek additional funding resources to meet future training plans

To develop and mentor new managers/ and manage homes where the manager position is currently vacant.
